The Process —
your Website Experience:
It all starts with you and your business. You’ll be sent a detailed questionnaire to complete. This helps us get to grips with what you do and allows us to decide which website platform will be your best friend. You’ll also be sent a helpful guide so you can start pulling together the content we need to fill your site.
The process is driven by our end goal; an amazing website that converts. We’ll work collaboratively in your initial consultation, exploring your business goals and how your site will need to function in order to deliver success. At this stage we’ll create a wireframe to map your website and a timeline for delivery.
This gives us the foundation on which we can begin designing your shiny new website. Ally will apply his digital design knowledge to develop a website design that is not only visually exciting but will also increase those all important conversions.
We’ll get together over video conferencing to walk you through our exciting propositions for your website. Then you’ll have the opportunity to review everything and feedback any amendments ready for the refinement phase.
Then it’s time to build. Based on your requirements and preferences we’ll start building your custom website on a platform that will work best for you. We’ll make sure it looks amazing on both desktop and mobile and it meets the essential SEO standards.
You’ll get a video demo of your refined website and how to work with it to really maximise its potential. Then we’ll jump on a call to talk through EVERYTHING. This is your opportunity to request those final edits to make sure it’s perfect.
Then it’s time to LAUNCH! We’ll provide all the assets you need to count down and celebrate your big launch day.
How much should I expect to pay for a custom website service?
Experience has taught us that each website build is unique which is why we don’t offer set packages. However what you can expect is amazing design for affordable prices. Like with our branding packages you literally pay for the hours we work, plus a small fee for overheads and a 10% profit margin to help us grow and expand our offering.
Do you do payment plans?
We’ve broken down our payment scheme to help make things more manageable. We take a 50% deposit on booking to commence the work. We’ll then take 25% after Phase 3 and 25% before launch day. Then we’ll send your website live!
How long will the whole process take?
It depends what projects we have in the diary at the time but as a guideline you can expect to receive the initial website design proposal within 3-4 weeks of your design consultation. We’ll create a timeline for your project so we have a guide to work with.
I’ve already booked your branding experience, is this service relevant for me?
Absolutely! These two packages together are perfect for any new business preparing for launch or an existing business looking for a full transformation. Once we’ve created your beautiful new brand we can get started on your web design and as an existing client you’ll get a discount too!
What payment methods do you accept?
We’ve tried to keep our overheads small to ensure we offer the best prices possible so bank transfer is our preferred payment method. However we understand that you may need to make payments by credit card. We accept these via our online payment platform.
How do you deliver my website?
On receipt of the 25% balance payment we’ll publish your website and then we can all do a celebratory happy dance. Champagne recommended!
What website platforms do you use?
Dependent on what you need from your website we’ll recommend the right platform for you. We’re a Squarespace Circle member and this is one of our preferred platforms for small businesses. We also work with Showit, and for the completely bespoke projects we love Webflow.
